About Course
TVE (technical and vocational education ) refers to all forms and levels of education which provide knowledge and skills related to occupations in various sectors of economic and social life through formal, non-formal and informal learning methods in both school-based and work-based learning contexts. Technical and vocational education refers to the process of acquiring practical skills and knowledge in areas such as mechanization, automation, agriculture, construction, manufacturing, repair, and service. It is a form of education that prepares individuals for employment and self-employment, contributing to poverty reduction and meeting the growing demand for technical skills in the labor market.
It Includes:-
- Technical & Vocational Secondary Education:-Technical and vocational education is offered in secondary schools in the form of technical/vocational subjects. It is part of the secondary curriculum. Some secondary schools also offer vocational programs. Vocational education is also offered in some primary schools as enterprise education.
- Vocational Secondary Education:-Vocational education is education that prepares people for a skilled craft as an artisan, trade as a tradesperson, or work as a technician. Vocational education can also be seen as that type of education given to an individual to prepare that individual to be gainfully employed or self employed with requisite skill.
